The Dress
Okay, I've actually finsihed my dress that i was making for textiles, well its close enough now all i've got to do is put the sequiins on the sleeves but thats a 2minutes job so, i am finished. Even if i didnt put them on my dress wouldnt look un-finsihed.
After spending a drooling, 3 hours 47 minutes on my dress today it all came together. Sewing and un-doing where i went wrong posiibly brought me incredibly close to insanity. Especially when i didn't understand the way the pattern piece instruction told me to put my dress together, i had to think of another way.
Neways, this has definitely taught me - "dont bite off what you can't chew" because 1) it was a complicated dress and 2) the geogrette fabric is to hard to control.
If i ever make any type of dress again i will make a simple cotton dress, that i can wear all the time. NEways i will post a picture of it after i have had my wife model it for me. (No I'm not a man just shes one of my best friends and I've known her for 12 years and we are like soul friends) I'll give you a blog on her sometime ;)
